Affpinions has helped affiliates discover networks and programs since 2008. Our mission is "to provide affiliates from around the world with free access to a huge database of affiliate programs and help them form opinions on which programs are ideal for their digital business's revenue goals." This policy explains how we create content so you can judge how far to rely on it.
1. Our principles
- Usefulness first: we publish content that helps affiliates make better decisions, not content designed only to rank.
- Accuracy: we check facts against primary sources and correct mistakes openly.
- Independence: commercial relationships never decide which programs are listed or what the data says.
- Transparency: we explain how we make money and how we research.
2. How listings are researched
- Discovery: programs are found through our own research, industry events, publisher communities and submissions from users and networks.
- Data collection: payout thresholds, payment methods, frequency, currencies, commission types, tracking software and cost to join are collected manually from publisher terms, sign-up pages and correspondence with the network.
- Verification: company details are checked against public registers (such as Companies House in the UK) and other reputable sources where possible.
- Categorisation: programs are assigned to markets based on the products that dominate their offers. Broad networks appear in several markets.
- Review cycle: listings are reviewed periodically and whenever we receive a credible correction. The review date is shown on each listing.
We do not publish user star ratings. We stopped accepting public reviews after finding coordinated fake reviews — the full story is in can you trust reviews of affiliate networks?
3. How articles are written
Guides and blog posts are written by the Affpinions Editorial Team, drawing on many years of experience in affiliate marketing since 2007. Each article is:
- planned around a real question affiliates ask;
- researched using primary sources such as regulator guidance, official program terms and platform documentation;
- reviewed for accuracy and clarity before publication;
- dated, with a "last updated" date when it is materially revised.
Worked examples use clearly hypothetical numbers unless a source is cited.
4. Use of AI tools
We may use AI tools to help with research, outlining, summarising data or proofreading. Every published page is reviewed and edited by a person who is responsible for its accuracy. We do not publish mass-produced, unreviewed AI content, and we do not invent experiences, quotes, testimonials or reviews.
5. How we make money — and how we keep it separate
Affpinions earns revenue from affiliate commissions on some outbound links and from paid services. To protect independence:
- Directory lists are alphabetical by default; there are no paid positions.
- A Verified Network Listing confirms data accuracy; it does not buy placement or favourable wording.
- Whether or not we have an affiliate relationship with a network does not affect whether it is listed.
- Service clients receive our honest assessment, even when it is not what they hoped to hear.

6. Corrections and updates
If you believe something on Affpinions is wrong, please submit a correction with a source where possible. We aim to review correction requests within five working days. Significant corrections to articles are noted at the end of the article.
7. Guest contributions
We welcome expert contributions. Guest content must be original, accurate and useful, must disclose any commercial interest, and is edited to our standards. We do not accept paid links disguised as editorial content.
